First, I put the green color be my background.

Next, I put the 31 small triangles.

Then, I open my picture.

I used quick selection tool to cut my background

And then, I put all my group members’ picture on the top of the small box.

Next, I type 2010, weekend (Monday until Sunday) and days of the month

Then, I type 10

and make some effect.

After that, I type October

and also make some effect.

Next, I open cake picture and put into my calendar.

Then, I open same cake picture be my background

and adjust the opacity to 39%.

Finally, I done my calendar^^

should we put shadow on the date or not ?

Emotional Date Columns!

It has been a while since our first layout update. However, our funny idea of editing our own face on each of the date columns is not forgotten. On 14th of december, Tuesday, we set up a camera at the corridor in front of our hostel. This venue is chosen for the wall of the corridor is plain white and it is going to be easy for us to extract the subject from the background!

We took photos that looks like this:

And the final outcome applied to our calendar looks  like this:

Steps:

First, we used Quick Selection Tool to extract the person from the background.

Next, the edges of the selection is refined.

Finally the picture is dragged to the date columns. We also added the shadow effect through Right Click > Blending Options > Drop Shadow.

Then it is done!

This is the start of my calender, i cut out our photo and place it in the calender.

This is the half work that i do in photoshop.

the next step, i cut the pudding cup by using magnetic lasso tool.



After that i drag into the calender and use free transform to adjust the photo of pudding.

I make the effect on the calender. i put shadow into the picture.
I also use the opacity- this is 29%

and this is 10 %
10% nice or 29%??
